  1. Firstly in a pressure cooker add 1/2 tsp salt,some water and jackfruit.presssure cook for 1-2 whistles.Cool it,peel off seeds and clean it..
  2. Grind onion and tomato.Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the jackfruit on medium flame..
  3. After that in same wok heat 6-7 tbsp oil,add bay leaf,cumin seeds, asafoetida and cardamom powder.Splutter cumin seeds then add Ginger garlic paste and mix it..
  4. Now add onion paste and cook it on high flame for 4-5 minutes.after that cook it on medium flame until the colour becomes golden brown..
  5. After that add tomato and mix it.cook it for 6-7 minutes on medium flame..
  6. Now add all dry ingredients and mix it.Cook it for 6-7 minutes on medium flame.after that add fried jackfruit in it.Mix it very well..
  7. Then add 11/2 cup water in it,mix it very well.Now cover it with lid and cook it for 10 minutes on low flame.Now vegetable is ready..
