  1. You need to prepare 1 kg of Dry apricots.
  2. You need to prepare 1 kg of Sugar.
  3. Prepare Pinch of red food colour that looks drooling (optional).
  4. Prepare of Garnish with almonds of seeds within apricots or our regular almonds chopped.

  1. Wash well & soak apricots in water overnight or atleast 6 hours.
  2. Next day don’t discard the water from apricots still just remove each apricot from water deseed gradually all of them.
  3. Then just take a cookware dish add all the apricots with little water from soaked apricots.
  4. On the stove on high flame first let it come to one boil stirr then keep it on medium flame covered for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Once it’s boil do check one apricot in cold water if it turns soft enough then add sugar red food colour let it cook until sugar is dissolved keep stirring on medium flame.
  6. Once it comes to juicy consistency it’s done off the flame let it cool down then refrigerate it for 3-4 hours.
  7. While serving cool dessert garnish it with chopped almonds..
  8. Tip of the day: usually I serve it with scoop of ice cream (vanilla), or fresh cream piping, custard cubes prepare separately. U can also deseed the apricot almonds and garnish it looks more tasty.Lastly while u add sugar from that moment keep stirring as it must not stick to the dish or burn it spoils the dessert..
